Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

1. Service Description

PeakFilm (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an AI-powered platform for generating sports highlight reels from game footage. By accessing or using PeakFilm, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use PeakFilm. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian must set up and manage the account and use the service on your behalf. You are responsible for anything that happens under your account and for keeping your access secure.

3. Your Content & License

You keep all ownership rights to the video footage and athlete information you upload. By uploading, you grant PeakFilm a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and display that content solely to generate your highlight reels and power your athlete profile.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload what you submit. If footage shows other people — including minors — you confirm you are the athlete's parent or guardian, or have the necessary consent to upload and share it. Do not upload footage of others without permission.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: upload content depicting violence, harassment, or illegal activity; upload footage you do not have the rights to; attempt to reverse-engineer the AI pipeline; create fake athlete profiles to deceive coaches or recruiters; use automated tools to scrape or overload the platform; or share account credentials.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Plans & Payments

PeakFilm offers a free tier so you can try the core product. Paid plans — Pro ($19/mo billed annually, or $24/mo) and Team ($39/mo billed annually, or $49/mo) — add more uploads, HD exports, additional formats, and other features as described on the pricing page. Prices may change, with notice for active subscribers.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; access continues through the end of the current period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once a billing period has begun.

6. AI Output

PeakFilm uses automated detection to find and assemble highlights. AI is not perfect: it may miss plays, include less relevant moments, or occasionally track the wrong player. Tools are provided to help you review, trim, and correct your reel before you share it. You are responsible for reviewing a reel before using it.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

PeakFilm is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that a highlight reel will result in any specific recruiting or athletic outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of PeakFilm is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50.

8. Termination

You may stop using PeakFilm and delete your account at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. We may suspend or end access for violations of these Terms or to protect the service and its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) will continue to apply.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which PeakFilm is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located there.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, aim to notify registered users by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
